Dan
Bloom, Editor-in-chief,
is a psychotherapist in New York City. He studied with Laura Perls, Isadore From, Richard Kitlzer, and Patrick Kelley. He is a full member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy and its ex-president, having been the first person to serve 2 terms since Laura Perls. Dan is a member of the European Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy and the president-elect of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy, an international community. He teaches and lectures internationally. This journal represents to him an important development in the history of gestalt therapy as it begins to take its place in the larger world of psychotherapy.
Margherita
Spagnuolo Lobb,
Licensed Psychologist Psychotherapist, gestalt therapy trainer since
1979, she teaches in the five offices of her Italian Institute,
and is an invited trainer and conference presenter internationally.
She has served as president of the European Association for Gestalt
Therapy (EAGT) for 6 years, of the Italian Umbrella Association
for Psychotherapy (FIAP) for 2 years, of the Italian Association
for Gestalt therapy (SIPG) for 2 decades. She founded the European
Conference of Gestalt Therapy writers, and has served as editor
of the Italian journal “Quaderni di Gestalt” since 1985.
Her writings, which cover both epistemological and practical issues,
have been published and translated in many languages.

Frank-M.
Staemmler,
Dipl.-Psych., lives in Würzburg, Germany. He has been working
as a gestalt therapist in private practice since 1976, and as a
supervisor and trainer since 1981. He has written about sixty articles
and book chapters and three books and has edited five other books.
He is a frequent presenter at international conferences and has
served as editor of the International Gestalt Journal from 2002
to 2006 and as guest editor of the British Gestalt Journal (15/2,
2006).
